Board of Equalization and Review

 

The Board of Equalization and Review is comprised of taxpayers in Davie County that have been appointed by the Board of Commissioners.  Once appointed they must take an oath of office to carry out the powers and duty of the Board in a fair and impartial manner.

 Duties of the Board:
1.  Duty to review tax list
2.  Duty to hear taxpayer appeal
3.  Duty to change abstracts and records after adjournment
