How to Manage Your Library Account Online
Check out our collection of fiction, non-fiction, and biographies for adults, young adults, and children. We have a Large Print collection of fiction and non-fiction books. Other items include books on CDs, as well as DVDs, CD-ROMs, and foreign language programs. We offer a Spanish language collection at the Mocksville location. See our policies related to circulation periods, fines and fees. See our Readers' Advisory page for reading suggestions.
For those not able to come to the library, library staff delivers books and other materials to Davie County residents, daycare, and nursing homes. Call (336) 753-6030 for information about days and times the outreach van travels to your area.
Davie County Public Library (DCPL) offers an e-Book and e-Audio collection, allowing patrons to borrow popular titles to use on their e-Readers and audio devices. Enjoy e-iNC today.
Reference books and books in our Martin-Wall Local History Room may be consulted at the library.
To request a library card, please come into the library to fill out the form, and check out this guide to getting and using your card.
Books not in our collection may be requested from other libraries in the NC Cardinal consortium; new publications may not be requested for six months after release. You may place a hold on an item through the online library catalog.
As a library patron, you also may use any of our electronic database services, to find articles of interest in thousands of magazines and newspapers, to research family history through census records and publications, to learn another language, to download an e-Book, or to help your child with homework. See e-Library for information and access.
