LibraryThing-- Add books to your catalog and get recommendations based on what you’ve read or select “member recommendations” instead of  recommendations to get different alternatives. You can participate in groups and discussions, and see featured authors and new books as well.

Romance Writers of America Science Fiction and Fantasy Writers Western Writers of America NC Writers' Network - Founded in 1985, the nonprofit North Carolina Writers' Network is one of the largest statewide literary service organizations in the country.
