Volunteer with DCPL

Volunteers assist the library with many tasks that ensure the library operates smoothly. Their contributions, though often unproclaimed, are important and appreciated. We are very happy to recognize and thank our volunteers for the assistance they provide.
Volunteers help with a number of tasks required to maintain the general collection, process materials, curate the history room collections, and assist in managing programs. If you are interested in being a library volunteer, please call us at (336) 753-6030 or download an Adult Volunteer Application and drop it off at the library. Youth can also volunteer. They can assist the youth librarian in preparing materials for crafts and programs, as well as helping maintain the general collection. Youth can call (336) 753-6030 or download a  Youth Volunteer Application and drop it off at the library.
