Davie Center for Violence Prevention emphasizes the prevention of violence through education and awareness programs for diverse groups of people of all ages.

Community Education Programming Aspires to:
- Reach groups which are traditionally underserved
- Establish and maintain linkages with community agencies and individuals
- Conduct presentations (upon request) to build awareness about domestic and sexual violence
- Provide volunteer opportunities to assist with DCVP's mission
- Measure the results through surveys and pre-and-post tests
- Raise awareness about the depth and severity of the long-term negative impact of DV/SA on the community
- Develop and implement a coordinated community response to domestic and sexual violence
