Frequently Asked Questions

A building permit is required for ANY construction, installation, repair, replacement or alteration with a total cost more than $40,000.00.  A permit is also required, no matter the cost, if the work involves the addition, repair or replacement of load bearing members or structures, the addition of plumbing, heating, air conditioning, electrical wiring, devices, appliances or equipment. Once a completed application with all required documentation is received it may take up to 10 business days for permit to be issued.

Fee Schedules

You may pay through the online portal, in person at our office or by mailing a check. Credit cards are accepted in the online portal and our office. We accept all major credits except American Express. Checks are accepted in person at our office or through the mail. Cash is accepted in person at our office. We currently do not accept payment over the phone.
