ECRR is a training program developed by the Association for Library Service to Children and the Public Library Association to help parents/caregivers assist children from Birth to Age 5 with developing the Early Literacy Skills necessary to learn reading when they enter Kindergarten. The workshop will be interactive for the adult and child. Skills covered include Talking, Singing, Playing, Writing and Reading with young children in a manner that fosters their skill development. We recommend 1 adult to 1 child, and require registration for this workshop.

Ranger is a live Tail Waggin' Tutor certified by Therapy Dog International. He patiently listens to children read. We recommend children prepare a selection that takes about 10-15 minutes to read. Email Miss Julie to schedule an appointment.
