DAVIE COUNTY, NC—If 2020 taught us anything, it's to not take a moment for granted. If you are caring for an aging parent, friend, grandparent or you anticipate this in your future, then this seminar is for you.
Kelly Sloan will be the speaker at this month's Caregiving Seminar. Kelly has a Master’s degree in Gerontology from Appalachian State University and has spent much of her life as a caregiver herself. She has been with Davie County Senior Services for the past 16 years serving as the coordinator for the Family Caregiver Support Program assisting caregivers with various needs. Kelly also facilitates the Alzheimer’s Support Group and most other service programs that are offered including Meals on Wheels and Information and Referral.
This month, she will discuss what respite is, why this matters to you as a caregiver and what Davie County Senior Services can offer you.
This will be hosted on January 26th at 2:00 p.m. via Facebook live. If you or someone you know would like access to this seminar but do not have access to Facebook, please call Davie County Senior Services at (336) 753-6230.
