Stop The Bleed Training Opportunity in Davie County

DAVIE COUNTY, N.C. – Davie County Emergency Services is sponsoring ‘’Stop the Bleed’ training for the public. This training prepares the student to slow or stop life-threatening bleeding injuries in any setting. On completion of the class, the student will receive a stop the bleed kit. This kit is funded through a Homeland Security Grant and administered through Davie County Emergency Management. The kit includes a tourniquet, bandages, gloves and other items sealed in a carry case.

You can be prepared to save a life in an emergency situation with the basic techniques and skills taught by trained professionals in this class. Sign up today to be better prepared, equipped and confident when an emergency situation occurs. 

Registration is required as class size is limited. All training will be held at the Emergency Services Training Facility at 114 Dr. Slate Drive, Mocksville. Class dates are September 16th, 23rd, and 30th from 6:30 pm until 8:30 pm.
