It’s the season for spring vegetables, strawberries and greens--and just around the corner, summer vegetables! Davie County farmers are working hard to keep you safe and healthy while still providing their products and services to you.
In addition to the spring vegetables, Davie County farms offer meats, honey, plants and other products year-round. These farmers are abiding by social distancing guidelines and still have plenty of products waiting for you!
To find out what’s available from our local farmers, you can visit the Davie County Cooperative Extension site.
Here’s what to do:
1. Go to the Davie County Cooperative Extension site.
2. Click on the "Local Farms" tab on the left hand side menu
3. Click which local farm you’d like to explore
Here you can view listings by local meat and honey producers; greenhouses and nurseries; vineyards and wineries and agribusinesses. Many of these local farmers and producers are offering online ordering, window pickup and more.
