[Mocksville, NC]—Davie County's Cooperative Extension is proud to host Business of Training Seminars throughout the fall of 2019. At these seminars, attendees will learn about different opportunities in North Carolina available to them, farm financial accounting, grants, insurance options and more.
The first seminar, Marketing & Agrotourism, will be held on Tuesday, November 12th from 9-11:30 a.m. Janine Parker, NC A&T State University Cooperative Extension Agribusiness and Marketing Specialist will lead this session and discuss different types of agrotourism opportunities within North Carolina. Pre-register for this seminar by November 5.
On Wednesday, November 20th, from 9-11:30 a.m. attendees will learn about Farm Financing as they discuss the USDA Farm Service Agency, RAFI Grants, USDA Natural Resources Conservation Service and more led by respective efforts in these areas. Pre-register for this seminar before November 13.
The third and final seminar will be held on Tuesday, December 3 from 9-11:30 a.m. and will cover Business Operations. At this seminar, experts will discuss Farm Taxes, Farm Financial Accounting, the NC Farmlink Program and more. Pre-register for this seminar by November 26th.
