Mocksville, NC - The 2019 Davie Connect Resource Fair will be held Thursday, October 10 from 9:00 – 1:00pm at the Brock Recreation Center at 644 North Main Street in Mocksville. Admission to the event is free and open to the public.
This fair is hosted by Davie County Senior Services, Davie County Recreation & Parks and Davie County Public Library with the intent to inform the public about local resources for everything needed to connect in Davie County.
Businesses and organizations will be given the opportunity to set up informational booths to let people know how they provide opportunities for people to live, work and play in Davie County. This is a great and accessible way to contact potential employees, partners and network within the community.
If you represent a local organization and would like to set up a booth at this event, visit https://tinyurl.com/DCResourceFair and fill out an application by Friday, October 4th. There is no cost for participation but space is limited and acceptance will be on a first come first serve basis. Please be sure to provide an email address on the registration form as a confirmation email will be sent to you shortly after the registration deadline.
Vendors will have the option to give $2.00 for a 50/50 raffle drawing that will happen at the Resource Fair. The winner will receive half of the collected funds and the other half will be donated to Storehouse for Jesus, a local nonprofit that helps people with food, clothing and medical needs. Additionally, there will be door prizes throughout the day for those in attendance.
