Senior Games had a full week with the following activities: Archery, Croquet, Shuffleboard, and Swimming!

On Tuesday, April 26, Davie County Senior Games headed to Bermuda Village to play Men’s Shuffleboard and Women’s Croquet. There was competition in almost each age group. The ladies had a great time battling it out for the 1st place slot in Croquet and then the men did the same with Shuffleboard!

On Wednesday, April 27, Senior Games headed out to Camp Manna for the 2022 Senior Games Archery Competition. Camp Manna has a great archery range! This event was especially fun because of the wealth of knowledge shared by each participant. There was even a new participant that was able to gain more insight on the sport and shares a wealth of enthusiasm for the event!

Following Archery, Senior Games headed to the Davie Family YMCA for the Swimming Event. This event featured several different swimming strokes and was full of fun!

On Thursday, April 28, Senior Games headed back to Bermuda Village for the Women’s Shuffleboard and Men’s Croquet event! The ladies had a great time with lots of competition! All but one age group in the ladies event had competition and everyone was so encouraging and wanted the best for their competitors!

As one can see, Davie County Senior Games tries to visit as many places in the county as possible! This week, Senior Services would like to give a special shout out to Bermuda Village, Camp Manna, and the Davie Family YMCA for hosting the Senior Games events this week and for supporting the seniors of Davie County.
