CAREGIVER ACADEMY - ADVANCE CARE PLANNING

We are pleased to be a partner in the Caregiver Academy, which meets monthly to provide education and support to caregivers.  This month we will discuss the legal documents needed when someone can no longer make their own health care decisions, including health care power of attorney, living will, DNR, MOST, Got Plans, Five Wishes and The Conversation Project.  RSVP in advance to 336-713-2378.

SILVERARTS TURN IN DAY

If you are participating in SilverArts, this is the time to turn in your work.  Judges will be here later in the day to declare the winners and all the work will be displayed in the cases at the library until the closing ceremonies.

MOTHER/DAUGHTER BANQUET

This event is open to ladies age 55 and older and their daughters, granddaughters, nieces or friends regardless of age.  The theme will be a tea party, but a full dinner will be provided.  Be sure to get into the spirit by wearing your favorite hat!  After dinner we will have great entertainment by Jason Barney.  Ladies 55 and older are welcome without guests as well.  Ladies only please.  RSVP to 336-753-6230.

SKIN CANCER SEMINAR
