BUS RIDING 101 SEMINAR

CAREGIVER ACADEMY - WHEN ITS TIME TO CONSIDER LONG-TERM CARE PLACEMENT

We are pleased to be a partner in the Caregiver Academy, which meets monthly to provide education and support to caregivers.  This month we will discuss how to weigh the pros and cons of various types of long-term care, options to pay for it and convincing everyone to agree to it.  Also learn about setting up property deeds and trusts to protect family assets.  RSVP in advance to 336-713-2378.

NECKLACE CRAFT

4th ANNUAL MS. SENIOR DAVIE COUNTY PAGEANT

The entire community is invited to come out to the pageant to see these wonderful ladies portray aging at its finest as they compete for the crown of Ms. Senior Davie County 2019.  All ages are welcome.  Get your free ticket at Senior Services.

ALZHEIMER'S SUPPORT GROUP

This group meets the 2nd Tuesday of each month and is open to adults of any age.  It is intended for those caring for a loved one with Alzheimer's or other dementia but is open to any caregiver that can benefit.  Meetings may consist of sharing time and/or guest speakers.  RSVP to 336-753-6230.

END OF SUMMER DANCE


Friday, September 13 - 6:00 - 8:00pm
Come out and show off your best dance moves.  "DJ Charlene" will play some favorite dance songs from all genres for you to enjoy.  Light refreshments will be served.  Open to adults 55 and older.  RSVP to 336-753-6230.
