Child Support (IV-D)
The purpose of the Child Support program is to ensure that both parents are financially responsible for their children. Our services are provided to public assistance and non-public assistance clients. Services that are offered to assist the public include:
• Collection and distribution of payments
• Establishment and enforcement of child support orders that may include medical insurance
• Establishment of paternity
• Location of non-custodial parents
Additionally, interstate services are provided. The Child Support staff can work with other states to assist with location, establishment and enforcement of court orders when a party resides out of state.
