Where do I purchase tickets?
Our Concerts in the park are FREE!
What time do the gates open?
The gates open at 5:00 p.m. unless stated differently on the concert schedule.
What time do concerts start?
The concerts run from 7:00 p.m. – 10:00 p.m.
What should I bring?
You’re highly encouraged to bring foldable chairs, picnic blankets, etc. Picnics and outside food are permitted, but no outside alcohol per ABC regulations. Personal canopy tents are not permitted.
What is prohibited?
No outside alcohol, weapons, explosives, or flammables, drugs or other paraphernalia, drones, motorized bikes or scooters. No Tailgating Allowed; no pets - Service animals only. (Service animal must have visible vest/collar/or marking indicating they are a service animal) All Bags & Coolers will be checked.
Are coolers allowed?
Yes! However, all bags and coolers will be subject to search when entering the venue (See prohibited items).
When can I show up and park?
We highly encourage carpooling! Parking will be open for entry at the Southwood Entrance. No Tailgating Allowed. Overflow parking is available at DDCC Early College.
Where do we go once I'm at the park?
Look for our splashpad! Take the sidewalks toward the splashpad area, which will lead you to the civic green. No entry is allowed between the stadium and the recreation facility. This area will be for emergency access only.
Can I put out my lawn chair(s) early to save a spot?
Yes, however, DCRP is not responsible for unattended chairs. Blankets are not allowed on the civic green until 5:00 p.m.
Will there be accessible handicapped parking available?
Yes! Accessible parking spaces are available on a first-come, first-served basis in the following parking lots: Southwood Entry Lot (22 spaces) and 601 Entry Lot (6 spaces).
Will there be restrooms available?
Yes, indoor restrooms are on the back side of the main building near the playground, and five (5) Port-a-Jons are near the entry.
Is food available for purchase?
Yes! Our Vendor Lineup is Dah Sistah’s Cali Style BBQ, Papa Bear's Concession, Kibi's Crazy Casserole, Scream Ice Cream, Lemon 'N' Dough, Piedmont Triad DonutNV, & Carnival Treats & Bakery!
Will alcoholic beverages be available for purchase?
YES! Consuming patrons should be prepared for the following: A) Must show state-issued photo I.D., B) Must purchase a wristband, and C) Purchase beer from the beer vendor. A wristband is required to purchase beer. D) Any/all consumption of beer must be inside the clearly identified large civic green perimeter. Outside alcohol is strictly prohibited at the venue per ABC regulations.
Is smoking or vaping permitted at the Venue?
The concerts are held at an outdoor venue; therefore, smoking and vaping are permitted only in designated areas. Watch for signage at the concerts. Smoking and Vaping will not be allowed outside of the designated area.
Is the Venue accessible?
Yes! There are accessible/transition sidewalk pathways that lead you from the parking lots to the civic green area. The civic green is sod and flat for wheelchair access if you choose. There will be a designated sidewalk pathway area for those patrons who do not wish to access the civic green.
What if it rains?
Concerts are held rain or shine. The only time concerts will be canceled or delayed is if lightning is present at the concert site and the weather does not look to improve. We closely monitor radar and work with the Davie County Emergency Personnel to make the best possible decision for everyone. Day-of concert updates will be posted on the official Davie County Recreation & Parks’ Facebook page (https://www.facebook.com/DCRPTEAM/).
Will there be a dance area?
YES! The dance area will be identified and marked "Dance Area Only" near the center stage.
