Senior Services gives out walker aprons to those who need them and our supply is running low. If you have any sewing skills, you can make these aprons. Fabric will be provided. Please bring your own portable sewing machine, scissors and thread. Open to adults of any age. RSVP to 336-753-6230.

The Senior Tarheel Legislature was created to provide information to seniors on the legislative process and matter being considered by the NC General Assembly. SCARVES OF HOPE / SHARING & CARING

Our Caring and Sharing group works on many service projects throughout the year. Their current project is Scarves of Hope, which provides knit or crocheted scarves to individuals diagnosed with cancer. Make a few scarves of your own & bring them to this meeting. We will see that they are delivered to the Comprehensive Cancer Center of Wake Forest. If you do not knit or crochet, the organization takes purchased scarves as well.

We are excited to partner with the YMCA to bring these classes to you. Senior Services will cover the remaining cost of the class. Open to those 55 and older who are not YMCA members only. You must pre-register with Senior Services, not the YMCA.
ALZHEIMERS' SUPPORT GROUP
Tuesday, November 8 @ 6:30pm This group is open to any age. It is intended for those caring for a loved one with Alzheimer's or other dementia but is open to any caregiver that can benefit. Meetings may consist of sharing time and/or guest speakers. This group is offered in conjunction with the Alzheimer's Association. Please call no later than the Friday before the meeting to let us now you will be coming. Meetings will be canceled if not enough interest is shown. RSVP to 336-753-6230.
