Protecting Area Youth


Child support services refers to services that are provided to ensure that absent parents support their children. These services are provided for public assistance and non-public assistance cases. Services include:
  • Collection and distribution of payments
  • Establishment and enforcement of child support orders
  • Establishment of paternity
  • Location of non-custodial parents
Additionally, interstate services are provided to assist with establishment of support when the non-custodial parent lives out of state.


Child Support Enforcement (IV-D) 


This program provides child support services for public assistance and non-public assistance cases. 

Services include:
  • location of non-custodial parents, 
  • establishment of paternity, 
  • establishment and enforcement of child support orders, 
  • collection and distribution of payments. 

Interstate services are provided to assist with establishment of support when the non-custodial parent lives out of state.
